BAMC Auxiliary Offers Four $500 Scholarships (September 23, 2003)

The Bay Area Medical Center Auxiliary is presently taking applications for the Medical Services – Continued Education Scholarship II. The Auxiliary is increasing its scholarships to four $500 scholarships that will be awarded in November 2003.

Applicants must be presently employed in the medical field and working to upgrade their skills. Acceptance in a medical-related program or proof of taking classes for advancement is also required.

Over the past seven years over $6,000 in scholarships have been awarded with money raised from Auxiliary Book sales, Art sales and donations.

Scholarship forms can be obtained in the BAMC Marinette Gift Shop or the coffee shop in the BAMC Menominee building. Application deadline is October 17, 2003. Any questions regarding the scholarship can be directed to Joyce Hawkins at 715-735-3172.
