Northern Lights Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, BAMC Sleep Disorders Center Grand Opening (December 2, 2003)

(Marinette, Wis.) –The public is invited to the Grand Opening of the newly constructed Northern Lights Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic and Bay Area Medical Center Sleep Disorders Center, held on Thursday, December 4 from 4-7 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned in addition to tours of the clinic and sleep center. Visitors can meet with physicians and providers, register for raffle prizes, and enjoy refreshments. The Grand Opening will be held at the Northern Lights Professional Building at 3200 Shore Drive, Marinette.

The Northern Lights Clinic offers hearing assessments for patients of all ages and specializes in the treatment of the medical and surgical diseases of the ear, nose and throat. Services include tests for inhalant allergens, evaluations of hearing loss, Tinnitus, Vertigo and balance problems, treatment of voice disorders, head and neck cancer treatments, a hearing aid center and state-of-the-art laser and endoscopic surgeries for different ear, nose and throat procedures. The clinic also features pediatric otolaryngology, treating children and newborns for problems such as tonsils, sinusitis, cochlear implants and allergies. Northern Lights Clinic has also expanded to include sales of medical equipment including CPAP machines.

The new Bay Area Medical Center Sleep Disorders Center has relocated to the Northern Lights Professional Building. The sleep center is fully equipped with new state-of-the-art equipment and has expanded to a four-bed system to accommodate more patients. Disorders such as sleep apnea, difficulties staying awake or adhering to a consistent sleep/wake cycle, snoring, sleep walking and other problems that interfere with sleep can be tested in a private home-like setting. Sleep patterns from a separate room via a monitor and electrodes are recorded under the direction of a board certified otolaryngologist and board registered sleep technologists. Results are available within several days.
