contact: (Marinette, Wis.) - The A.W.A.K.E group (Alert Well And Keeping Energetic) is holding an open meeting on Monday, January 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the upper level reception area of the new Northern Lights Clinic at 3200 Shore Drive, Marinette. A.W.A.K.E. On The Bay is a health awareness group for people affected by sleep apnea, a condition that causes interruptions of breathing during sleep. The group is sponsored by Bay Area Medical Center's Sleep Disorders Center. The guest speakers will be Sara Villas, RT, RPSGT, and John Wilson, LPN, of the BAMC Sleep Disorders Center discussing "Tech talk: sleep study patient hookup. Why we do the things we do." A support session will follow the presentation. The public is welcome to attend. There is no charge for the program, and refreshments will be served.
