Recognizes Employees for March (April 6, 2004) |

For more information contact: (Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognized Diane Beattie as the Employee of the Month in March and acknowledged seven others as Service Care Stars. Beattie is the Lead RN in the new Cardiovascular Interventional Suite at BAMC. She is responsible for the daily operation of the suite and is trained to do hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac catheterizations. Beattie obtained her nursing education from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She has worked at BAMC for 25 years, starting out in the Dialysis department and then in the Emergency Room, Outpatient Surgery and G.I. Services. Paula Lintner, Director of Critical Care, described her as “the most dedicated employee she has ever worked with.” “My biggest accomplishment was becoming part of the new Cardiovascular suite and assisting in the process of preparing it for procedures,” said Beattie. “We are very fortunate to have this state-of-the-art suite at our facility.” Seven other employees were named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards.
