Recognizes Employees for October (October 18, 2004) |

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognizes Pete Carriveau as the Employee of the Month in October and acknowledges seven others as Service Care Stars. Carriveau has been a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Physical Therapy Department since 1994. Pete graduated from Crivitz High School and went on to attend UW Stevens Point where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Wellness and Health Promotion. He later attended NWTC where he obtained his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Carriveau is described as a hard working patient advocate that always displays a positive attitude. He deals with difficult patients and does so with courtesy and consideration. Ann Kresl, Director of Rehabilitation stated, “Pete is an awesome worker, giving the patient dignity, respect and superb care.” Pete commented this about his employment at BAMC, “I have seen
a lot of changes in the ten years I have worked for the hospital. I enjoy
working for the hospital and working with very dedicated co-workers.” Seven other employees have been named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards. These employees are:
