Tina Pichette is selected as Bay Area Medical Center’s Employee of the Month for November.

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognizes Tina Pichette as the Employee of the Month in November and acknowledges six others as Service Care Stars.

Pichette graduated from Wausaukee High School and continued her education at NWTC. She is now the unit secretary on the 2-East Medical/Surgical floor and has been with BAMC since January 2003.

This employee of the month is described as extremely efficient and very skilled in many areas. She was chosen for her strength in multi-tasking and handling her position well. Bobbi Morton, Director of the 2-East Medical/Surgical floor, stated that Pichette has “A great work ethic and keeps the whole team in mind.”

“I really enjoy what I do and have wonderful co-workers. I have learned a lot since I have become a BAMC employee and I plan to expand my education to further help my community,” Pichette states.

Six other employees have been named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards. These employees are:

• Bernie Lang, Respiratory Practitioner in Respiratory Therapy, for making a positive first impression;
• Joan Beekman, OB/GYN RN, for treating others as guests;
• Sandy Ermis, RN on 2-East Medical/Surgical unit, for developing service recovery;
• Sue Mulzer, Dietary Aide, for communicating effectively;
• Judie Hannon, Dietary Aide, for serving others from a team-centered approach; and
• Pam Dubrow, Coder/Analyzer in Health Information Management, for making excellence her goal.
