Craig Mansur is selected as Bay Area Medical Center’s Employee of the Month for December (2004).

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognizes Craig Mansur as the Employee of the Month for December and acknowledges seven others as Service Care Stars.

Mansur holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Business from the University of Minnesota, and a Master’s degree from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary. He completed his clinical pastoral education at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

Mansur began working at Bay Area Medical Center in June 2000. He is currently the Director of Pastoral Care. He is a vital part in making sure the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families, visitors and staff are met.

This employee of the month was chosen for his eager work ethic, making himself available on weekends and nights to serve the needs of patients and staff.

“It is good to work in a place where administration and staff are committed to the care and healing of the whole person,” Mansur states.

Seven other employees have been named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards. These employees are:

• Julie Conley, Physical Therapist, for making a positive first impression;
• Dan Carlson, Chief Financial Officer in Finance, for treating others as guests;
• Kathy Adams, Facilities worker in Facilities Management, for developing service recovery;
• Jeni Piontkowski, Registrar in Registrations, for communicating effectively;
• Penny Roberts, LPN on the nursing float pool, for serving others from a team-centered approach;
• Dawn Oleck, Unit Secretary on 2-East Medical/Surgical unit, for projecting a positive attitude; and
• Bev Bertrand, RN in OB/GYN, for making excellence her goal.
