Prostate Screening To Be Held in September (April 27, 2005)

(Marinette, Wis.) – The annual free Prostate Cancer Screening sponsored by the Bay Area Oncology Fund and Bay Area Medical Center will be held in September, 2005. This free screening, which consists of a PSA blood test and physical exam, was traditionally held at the end of February/beginning of March each year. The prostate screening has been re-scheduled this year to align with national prostate health month and prostate cancer awareness week observances in September. Watch for specific dates and more information on the screening in this newspaper closer to the event.
