BAMC Auxiliary Awards Scholarships

(Marinette, Wis.) – The Bay Area Medical Center Auxiliary recently awarded a total of $5,000 in healthcare scholarships to six area students. The recipients were Mitchell Gruszynski, Tracie Nutt, Natasha Ring, Jonathan Doubek, Kate Mayhew and Jennifer Martin. Each year BAMC’s Auxiliary presents six scholarships to graduating seniors who are pursuing careers in health-related fields of study.

Mitchell Gruszynski was the recipient of the $1,000 Lucille Pederson Memorial Scholarship. He graduated from Wausaukee High School and will be attending Madison Technical College to study Radiology.
Tracie Nutt was a student at Wausaukee High School and will be attending NWTC to purse a career as a Surgical Technologist.
Natasha Ring is from Wausaukee High School and will be attending Bellen College of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse.
Jonathan Doubek graduated from Menominee High School and is currently enrolled at St. Norbert College to pursue a career as a Surgeon.
Kate Mayhew graduated from Menominee High School and will be attending St. Norbert College to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Jennifer Martin was a graduate of Menominee High School and will be attending St. Norbert college to purse a career as an OB/GYN doctor.

These scholarships were funded by donations to the BAMC Auxiliary and by proceeds of their book sales, art sales and other fund raising efforts.
