Jessica Borchert, a board-certified physician assistant, has joined the NorthReach Healthcare Crivitz Medical Center.

(Marinette, Wis.) – Jessica Borchert, a board-certified physician assistant, has joined the NorthReach Crivitz Medical Center. Borchert offers a complete range of primary care for the whole family including well checks, preventative care, acute illness/injury visits, school/sports/employment physicals, female health and children’s care.

Borchert is a native of Lena with family ties to the Crivitz community as well. “I wanted to come back to a small town, somewhere I can see myself for many years to come. I like this area and wanted to be close to home,” she said.

Borchert is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed several clinical rotations. These rotations were in the areas of: orthopedic surgery at Rice Medical Center in Stevens Point; urgent care/ER at St. Vincent and St. Mary’s Hospitals in Green Bay; general surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison; internal medicine at Dean East Clinic in Madison; and family practice at Aurora Health Care 22nd Ave. Clinic in Kenosha.

In addition to her urgent care experience dealing with lacerations and minor surgeries, Borchert will also see patients at the Crivitz Medical Center for routine, acute and preventative health care. This ranges from helping patients control their blood pressure and cholesterol to teaching young women about proper weight, exercise and nutrition. She will treat all ages in her practice – from pediatrics to geriatrics and has a special interest in women’s health, well baby checks and sports physicals.

“Small town care” is a big emphasis for Borchert. She describes herself as “a good listener who is warm, compassionate and provides personal care for each patient.”

“I’m very excited to be here. I want to get to know my patients and work in a cozy small-town atmosphere.”

Borchert is now accepting new patients at the Crivitz Medical Center. To schedule an appointment, call 715-854-7477.
