Recognizes Employees for August (August 12, 2005) |

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognizes Tory Wettstein, an Exercise Physiologist in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department, as the Employee of the Month for August and acknowledges seven others as Service Care Stars. Wettstein graduated from Marinette High School and attended UW-Madison where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology – Exercise Science. He began his employment at Bay Area Medical Center in 1999. As an Exercise Physiologist, Wettstein performs cardiac stress tests and provides rehabilitation to patients with a cardiac or pulmonary condition. He enjoys being able to help patients, but is ultimately fulfilled by seeing them enjoy their lives back out in the community. He is respected by physicians, co-workers and is described as “bringing joy to the cardiopulmonary patients.” Ann Kresl, Director of Rehab Services, noted that, “When performing stress tests or working in the Rehab department, Tory treats everyone with respect, placing their needs and safety first.” When asked to comment about being employed at BAMC, Wettstein replied, “I feel fortunate to be able to work with such an outstanding staff of employees and doctors.” Seven other employees are named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards.
