Nicole Klingbeil is selected as Bay Area Medical Center’s Employee of the Month for March (2006).

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognizes Nicole Klingbeil,
administrative assistant in the Patient Care Services department, as the Employee of the Month for March and acknowledges seven others as Service Care Stars.

Klingbeil holds an Associate’s Degree as an Administrative Assistant from Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College. She began working at Bay Area Medical Center as a temporary employee in the Rehabilitation/Occupational Health department. Within one year she advanced to the position she currently holds.

Klingbeil was chosen as employee of the month for her upbeat attitude and drive to go beyond expectations. Bernie Van Court, COO, indicated that Nicole “always has time for whatever she can do for those who call upon her – not only for Patient Care Services, but all throughout BAMC. She is very organized, effective, creative and goes beyond the expectations of all those she supports.”

“I like being able to support so many people from which I have learned so much,” said Klingbeil. “I am proud to tell people that I work at BAMC.”

Seven other employees are named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards. These employees are:

• Dawn Washuleski, RN in 1-East Med/Surg, for making a positive first impression;
• Jennifer Shaw, MRI Aide in Diagnostic Imaging, for treating others as guests;
• Mary Hayward, Applications Coordinator in Information Technology, for developing service recovery;
• Carla Noel, RN in 1-East Med/Surg, for communicating effectively;
• Dana Kacynski, Patient Care Technician in ICU/IMCU, for serving others from a team-centered approach;
• Janine Squier, Pharmacy Technician in Inpatient Pharmacy, for projecting a positive attitude; and
• Lynne Vandenberge, Unit Secretary in 2-East Med/Surg, for making excellence her goal.
