BAMC Recognizes Employees for April RN in Two East Medical/Surgical department, as the Employee of the Month for April and acknowledges seven others as Service Care Stars. Doboy attended Menominee High School, and then enrolled at UW-Marinette for two years. She completed her RN degree at the Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay. Doboy began her employment at BAMC in February of 2002 and worked with oncology patients on Two East. In April of 2005, she became an Admission and Procedure nurse with the job of admitting patients to the various nursing floors. She is also responsible for different procedures involving Diagnostic Imaging, assisting physicians with inpatient procedures and conducting peripheral inserted central catheter lines. Doboy has been chosen as employee of the month for her drive for excellence. Bobbi Morton, director of Two East Medical/Surgical, explains that, “Connie goes the extra mile to comfort patients and families on admissions. She strives for five, is flexible and always is willing to assist the team.” When asked about being an employee at the hospital, Doboy replied, “BAMC is a progressive organization that is always striving to meet the needs and demands of our community to provide quality health care to its customers. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with so many skilled and dedicated people.” Seven other employees are named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care standards.
