Recognizes Employees for August (September 5, 2006) |

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognized Ronda Ahrndt, RN in GI Services, as the employee of the month for August and acknowledged seven others as Service Care Stars. Ahrndt graduated from Marinette High School and received her RN degree from
Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay. When asked about being employed at BAMC, Ahrndt said that she liked “working
in a small community with a hospital that offers what a big city hospital offers.”
She also enjoys “being able to help and comfort people you see out in the
community on a daily basis.” Seven other employees were named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care Standards. These employees were Miranda Jardeen, RN, Two-East Med/Surg, for making a positive first impression;

For the Editor: Bay Area Medical Center is a 99-bed general acute care hospital located in Northeast Wisconsin. It includes a community primary/secondary care hospital, a 71,100 sq.-ft. outpatient surgery center, a primary care physician joint venture, and a radiation oncology joint venture. BAMC offers select, advanced medical services, with an emphasis on diagnostic radiology, rehabilitation services, ambulatory surgery, obstetrics, cancer treatment and urgent care. BAMC earned full accreditation in 2006 by the Joint Commission on HealthCare Organizations. |
