Recognizes Employees for November (December 1, 2006) |

(Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center recognized Robin Behrens, Clinical Nurse Manager of the Dialysis Department as employee of the month for November and acknowledged seven others as Service Care Stars. Robin graduated from Oconto Falls High School and went on to attend
Bay College where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
She is currently attending UWGB to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree.
When asked to comment about being a BAMC employee, Robin said “So many of our procedures are top notch and proven by our recent awards for quality outcomes.” She then added “In the almost 15 years I have worked here, no matter how bad the week may have been, by Monday morning I am excited to return to work to see what the new week brings.” Cathy Miles, Director of Surgical Services, said “Robin is determined to ensure the Dialysis outcomes at BAMC meet all national targets. She has turned the Dialysis Department into a well-run unit.” In November, seven other employees were named Service Care Stars for exemplifying the hospital’s Service Care Standards. For the Editor: Bay Area Medical Center is a 99-bed general acute care hospital located in Northeast Wisconsin. It includes a community primary/secondary care hospital, a 71,100 sq.-ft. outpatient surgery center, a primary care physician joint venture, and a radiation oncology joint venture.
