Offers a Closer Look at How to Hold a Health Fair or Screening for Employees

| For more information contact: (Marinette, Wis.) – Bay Area Medical Center is hosting a round table event aimed at assisting local companies in planning a health fairs or screenings for their employees in 2007. On Tuesday, December 12, 2006, from 7:30 am – 9:30 am, at the Best Western Riverfront Inn in Marinette, local company representatives can join BAMC staff to learn about and share best practices relating to employee health fairs and screenings. John Hofer, director of marketing at BAMC, has assembled an experienced panel to present, offer practical advice and answer questions relating to hosting this type of employee-focused event. “Over the years, Bay Area Medical Center has held a wide range of public screenings and health events as part of our mission to promote health in our community,” said Hofer. “Through this Health Fairs and Screenings 101 forum, our goal is to provide local companies a first-hand opportunity to learn more about how BAMC can directly help them organize and host an employee fair or screening, which may ultimately lead to improved control over healthcare costs.” The round table event is designed to address the following:
